SWAMS held a lovely awards evening to celebrate our terrific team on Friday 25th October.

We have so many great staff. Five of our highest achievers were recognised personally, along with several long service winners.

2024 SWAMS Employee of the Year: Sarah Haynes, Registered Nurse

Sarah has shown exceptional dedication and made remarkable contributions throughout the year.

2024 Professional Development Award: Mima Bull, Indigenous Outreach Worker

Mima has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to both her professional responsibilities and her personal growth through her pursuit of her Aboriginal Health Practitioner qualification.

2024 Young Achiever: Mariah Egan, Maternal and Child Health Program Coordinator

Mariah has diligently served as the unofficial second in charge for the Maternal and Child Health team before her well-earned promotion to coordinator.

2024 Leadership Excellence: Devin Pincock, Data Analytics and Contracts Manager

Devin exemplifies outstanding leadership by inspiring and motivating the team.


2024 SWAMS Caring for Culture and Community Award: Narva Eades, Community Connector
(Narva was unable to attend the awards evening)

Narva has demonstrated her role as a Community Connector by supporting our Elders and always making them feel heard. She shows them respect while also educating them on what SWAMS will support them with.

Long-term service to SWAMS was recognised for the following staff:

20 Years of Long Standing Service
Noel Bennell: Noel is a valued and respected transport driver with a great sense of humour helping clients and staff get through the good and the not so good times at SWAMS.

Pamela Trezise: Pam has been the heart of SWAMS as the administration receptionist, earning the respect and admiration of clients and staff alike.

10 Years of Long Standing Service
Murray Collard: Murray began his journey with SWAMS in 2014 as a Transport Driver making sure clients get to their appointments on time.
