South West Aboriginal Medical Service (SWAMS) is creating an Aboriginal Preferred Suppliers Directory to support Aboriginal businesses and strengthen economic opportunities for our communities across the South West and beyond.
The Directory will help SWAMS teams better understand who is out there and what services Aboriginal businesses provide, so we can more easily connect with suppliers when opportunities arise. It is part of our commitment to fair, transparent processes and to working with Aboriginal businesses wherever possible.
Aboriginal businesses are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to share information about their services, capacity, and compliance. This helps SWAMS build a clear picture of suppliers across a wide range of areas, including trades and maintenance, catering, training, cultural consultancy, IT, design, professional services and more.
Being included in the Directory does not guarantee work, but it helps ensure Aboriginal businesses are visible and considered in a consistent and transparent way. All SWAMS procurement and purchasing processes will continue to apply.
