We were so pleased to put on a cook-up and yarn with community at Narrogin’s NAIDOC celebrations on 22nd October.
The SWAMS Engagement Team joined the day alongside many other community organisations and loved seeing people of all ages come together.
A smoking ceremony, games, dances, music and more helped build culture and connection and really fosters community spirit. The Kangaroo meat pies were also delicious, too.
Thanks to main organisers the Shire of Narrogin and Keedac (Kaata-Koorliny Employment and Enterprise Development Aboriginal Corporation) for really making the day a success.
