August 4, 2025
The skies may have been grey, but the spirit of National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day shone bright at Eaton Foreshore Playground on 4th August.
Despite the wet weather (so much burong, or rain!), families turned out in big numbers to celebrate together. But the wet didn’t dampen the fun – kids got stuck into playtime, had their faces painted with bright colours and shared a delicious morning tea with their families.
The event was a beautiful reminder of the strength and joy of our community, and the importance of coming together to celebrate our children. Laughter echoed through the playground, and the rain only added to the memories.
Thanks to everyone who came along and helped make the day so special!
