Despite the cool Djeran weather, the spirit was warm and welcoming at the SWAMS Easter Community BBQ held on Thursday 24th April.
Hosted by the SWAMS Youth Advisory Group (YAG) at Bunbury’s Big Swamp playground, families and young people came together to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with Easter crafts, active games, and delicious seasonal treats.
The event was a great chance for young people to connect, get creative, and spend time with their moort in a safe and supportive space.
It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces, especially our koorlangkas and their families.
Led by young people, for young people, the YAG provides a space to yarn, grow, and build leadership
and support emotional resilience.
