Violet Penny has been appointed as the new Disability Services Manager at SWAMS.
Violet has spent the past two years as Evidence and Access Co-ordinator, consistently demonstrating strong leadership, reliability, and dedication to her team and our clients.
In her new role, Violet will lead and strengthen the disability support program, ensuring culturally safe, high-quality services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
This is a moorditj moment for our organisation and community. Violet’s appointment reflects the strength of Aboriginal leadership and the importance of representation in shaping inclusive services.
We also thank those who have supported the program and led the way before Violet’s appointment.
